Guesthouse Yoshiyoshi

For one night, the guesthouse really did feel like home. It reminded me of coming back to my family in the countryside after being away for a long time. I'm grateful to my hosts. Arrigato gozaimasu!

It was so quiet, surrounded by lovely nature, and I slept very well. The old Japanese house had a nostalgic feel, while the renovated toilet and shower were clean and comfortable. The cats who live there are adorable and friendly, so cat lovers will enjoy them. The couple welcomed me warmly, and I had a great time talking with them. I called several times beforehand with questions about buses and rental bicycles, and they kindly answered everything. They also called to ask about my dinner plans. Keep in mind that many nearby restaurants close in the evening on some days, so eat early or buy food at a convenience store in advance. There is a bus stop, but buses to the nearest stop are limited, so a car or bicycle is a good way to get there. The next morning, the owner's husband drove us to Kirosan Observatory for an additional charge. The weather was good, and we enjoyed the magnificent view. The owner's couple were kind and thoughtful right to the end, and we'll definitely stay again.

I arrived on my own bicycle and they let me put it in the locked barn. The house is traditional Japanese style, but the plumbing is new and comfortable. The owners were incredibly warm and made the inn feel like home. Breakfast cost extra, but it was delicious, made with seasonal fruit and vegetables they had grown themselves. Thanks for the lovely memories.

The bathroom had no tub, but it was very clean and had a nice woody scent. They provided both bath and face towels, which was helpful. The couple who run the place are incredibly kind. Our trip went off plan, so we checked in much later than expected. Even late at night, they came to the front door to greet us. When I explained where we were going, they drew a map, then made us tea, sweets, and a light meal. Such personal service. I wish we'd arrived earlier so I could've talked with them more and played with the cats. There are still lots of places I haven't seen, so I'll definitely stay here again. Thank you very much!
