Our host was really kind and gave us a lovely ryokan stay, complete with an onsen, dinner and breakfast. He was patient as we learned about the culture, and didn't mind that it was our first time.

The food was amazing, with a full Japanese dinner and breakfast included. We stayed here while cycling the Shimanami Kaido. It was very cheap, and the staff were really friendly and spoke good English. The rooms are all tatami style and have balconies. The sento baths fit about three or four people at a time, with a men's bath and a single bath on the ladies' side. A hidden gem!

The staff were extremely friendly and the service was fantastic. We slept on futons in a comfortable tatami room with AC, and the food was absolutely delicious. It made a great addition to our short trip.
