Cozy Hotel Nukui Shimanami

Room 622 was on the top floor facing Kura Sushi, and there was a fairly loud sound every so often from what seemed to be the boiler room next door. If you can request a particular time, try to avoid this room. The free light breakfast was delicious, and I had my choice of snacks, ice cream, drip coffee, and tea on the third floor. There were also vending machines for frozen meals and drinks. I noticed several parking lots, though the shared hotel dining area might be closer. This was my first stay after passing by before. The hotel was smoke-free, had no breakfast included, and had two elevators. I'd brought two hangers after seeing two in a video, and got a toothbrush from reception. The men's and women's large baths, sauna, and cold bath had spacious, comfortable changing areas.

The guest lounge on the third floor was a real plus, with free fruit, ice cream, snacks, and drinks, plus vending machines outside for alcohol and food. We stayed in a twin room after the Saijo Festival, and the amenities were a complimentary gift during a promotion. We hadn't expected much from the free breakfast, but the two rice balls, miso soup, and pickles were delicious. A good budget-friendly hotel for us. 😁

I had to skip breakfast here because it was too early for me, so I went next door to Yoshinoya and was still satisfied. The hotel itself was relaxing and good value. The rooms were clean, and the spacious bath and sauna were great. They gave us free mandarin oranges at reception, which were delicious, and there was sake and other drinks in the lounge. 😁

Our room was a roomy, comfortable twin, and the simple rice ball breakfast was delicious. The third floor had nice extras like free drinks and snacks. The hotel has been beautifully renovated. A towel service at the public bath would make the stay even better.
