I ended up taking a room for 6300¥ instead. I’d planned to camp after my cycling trip and enjoy the onsen, but one night camping alone without a car costs 6000¥, which is ridiculously high, especially for Japan. The room itself was fine, so my one-star rating is about the camping price. It’s completely out of the market and goes against the philosophy of real campers.

We stayed on 7Feb2025. The hot spring was pretty hot and good, and dinner was good too. The room felt strange, like a dining room that had been converted into a bedroom. I wouldn’t recommend choosing that room because it has no toilet.

The open-air bath was roomy and heart-shaped, with a nice open feeling. The day spa was great value for both price and quality. Inside, the bathroom and washing area were spacious, and jazz music made the visit relaxing for body and mind. The sauna could comfortably fit about 10 people, and chairs for resting were set around the place. I’d like to come back.
