Breakfast was especially good value, with a much wider selection than we expected. For what you get, the price is definitely worth it. This was our first stay, and we were very pleased with how spacious and clean the room was. The onsen felt too small for such a large hotel. It was a little confusing to walk between the two towers, and with just six shower areas and a small bath, using it without stress seems hard. They should consider expanding and renovating the onsen so more guests can use it comfortably.

The public bath was decent, and I enjoyed the massage. There’s a free drink vending machine and an amenity corner just for shampoo. Service was surprisingly good, around the middle to upper end for a typical business hotel. The only awkward part is the unusual layout joining two buildings, though it’s bearable. I’ve heard the breakfasts are good because nannies cook everything, unlike at other business hotels. Too bad I didn’t try it.

We stayed one night in a Japanese-style room in the second building, with a pretty large tatami room. Check-in was smooth and the staff were courteous. The public bath in the first building was okay, and guests can use a free bike. The free parking filled up by around 7pm. For anyone wondering, AEON/Max Value is a 24hr supermarket a couple of minutes away on foot. It looked like a popular hotel for business travelers.

The staff were dedicated and very helpful. I loved the complimentary tea and coffee, the sofas, and that incredible buffet breakfast. I’ll never forget it!
