Toyoko Inn Fuchu-Nambu-sen Minami-tama Ekimae

I was really pleasantly surprised by this place. The room was a good size, and both it and the bathroom were very clean. There’s a supermarket inside the station that stays open from 7am to midnight, and the hotel is right by the station but still very quiet. We were here for my husband’s business trip and enjoyed our stay a lot. The location is great too, with the Suntory beer factory and lots of parks nearby.

At 370hkd a night, this is a good value stay. It’s not close to central Tokyo, so the location isn’t especially convenient for that, but staying in this area gives you a completely different view of Tokyo. HELLO Cycling would be a nice addition here, since I think cycling would suit the town perfectly. If you’re staying near the city centre, I’d say you should visit this place.

The breakfast didn’t do much for me, though it seems to suit the other guests, and parking is convenient, with extra costs on top. I’m staying here again in the near future. My group is at the Tama Hills recreation center, about 1.5 km away. The Tama lodge doesn’t take many people and has no accommodation on Mondays or Tuesdays, so you can’t stay there for a full week, which is bogus. This hotel is just as affordable.

I wanted coffee when I went down between 6-10am, but there was only green tea. I’d thought coffee was available 24 hours, and there wasn’t a drink bar either. The breakfast service was a bit poor too. I hope the other “Toyoko inn” locations across Japan aren’t the same.
