The cottages are cleaner than hotels, and they’ve got the amenities you need. I’ve stayed twice this year. Staff are very polite, too, so I feel at ease using the place. The barbecue set and cooking utensils are all there, which means you just need to bring the ingredients. It’s somewhere I’d happily keep coming back to.
Had a really clean, enjoyable night. The air conditioning worked well, and the fluffy blankets made it comfortable. I’d like to stay again.
The tent sites were dirt rather than grass, which was my one concern. It also felt more like visiting a relative in the countryside than having a quiet camping trip, but I still had a good time and would come back. For around 6,000 yen, my tent-site plan included electricity, hot water for washing dishes, an indoor shower, and use of the pizza oven. There was a beer server and free drinks, so even though I’d bought some drinks, I ended up having mostly what was provided. The staff were really friendly and easy to talk to.
I went with friends, and the email replies were quick and courteous. Cooking gear and bedding are provided, along with air conditioning, so it can feel more comfortable than home. The facilities are impressive, and with money for what you need, it’s easy to get by without much inconvenience. It’s a good fit if you want a barbecue and bonfire through the night. There isn’t much nature around, though. The site is in the countryside with houses nearby, unlike mountain, riverside, or seaside campsites where you feel immersed in nature. For that reason, the camping experience felt weaker than at other sites, and I wouldn’t recommend it to people who love nature.
The toilets and showers were clean, and the facilities were easy to use. The owner was kind, too.
