We only booked one night, but I wish we could have stayed for two. My companions were raving about the place, and we’d love to come back. The second-floor sofas and terrace looked out over the calming ocean, and we spent time there relaxing as the hours drifted by. The shoulder-bath tub was soothing, almost like being in a hot spring. There were two bathrooms and two washrooms, one on each floor, which made getting ready in the morning easy for four women. We even got picked up by the venue taxi right outside and enjoyed seeing the boathouses from the water. Everything felt new and comfortable, with a consistent atmosphere and stylish, inventive people. It was a really pleasant, relaxing space, and I’d recommend it.

My favorite moments were simply unwinding on the beach on the first floor during the day and taking in the view from inside and from the second-floor balcony at night. The place sits in a quiet, tucked-away part of the Ine Boat Houses, with lovely scenery and a clean, comfortable feel. Check-in was straightforward, and the host replied quickly with tips for nearby sights and places to eat. The boat taxi was especially fun: it picks you up right at the guesthouse entrance, which really gives you that boathouse feeling. Inside, it’s spacious and airy, with modern facilities. The hot tub, cold tub, and sauna were fantastic.

The equipment was new and good quality, and replies came quickly. But heavy snow led to a five-hour power cut during my stay. There was some communication, though no extra help or compensation was offered because of the unusual circumstances. With temperatures below zero, no shower, and no heating, I couldn’t use the equipment. The forecast had warned of heavy snow a week earlier, and apart from blankets there was nothing else in the room to keep warm. The stay should be good in normal conditions, but people traveling in winter or during unsettled weather should weigh the risks beforehand.
