Dinner and breakfast were the best parts for me. Both were delicious, and the care in how each dish was presented really stood out. We had a lovely stay during Sakura season: the room was well kept, and from the second floor we could see the castle and the blooming Sakuras, with the river in view too. I’d love to come back.

The staff were warm and helpful, and the little setup of complimentary drinks and snacks in the foyer was a thoughtful touch. Meals were another highlight, with fresh seasonal ingredients and lovely presentation at both dinner and breakfast. Our room had its own private onsen, so we could use the hot spring whenever we wanted in peace. There was also a rooftop deck with a view of Inuyama castle, and the river view from the balcony was amazing. A very elegant ryokan beside the Kiso river, with 10 guest rooms.

The outdoor bath was a great place to unwind, with an amazing view. I was in Aichi for a business trip and stayed one night. The room was really pleasant, with some lovely details, and the food was delicious too. The price is steep, though.

The staff are really caring, and the food and hot springs are both lovely. It’s a peaceful ryokan where you can have some private, quiet time. Children aren’t allowed to stay, and it seems like a good place to relax and shake off everyday tiredness.
