The stylish space, lovely kitchen, and ocean view made our stay at O'Kona Sarahama really pleasant. This was my second Okinawa trip this year, and I'd like to keep using condominiums for comfortable stays. The design and furniture had a lot of thoughtful details, and the kitchen's powerful commercial-grade stovetops were especially useful. The ocean view from the room was a nice surprise since it wasn't mentioned when booking. An A-Coop supermarket is close by, and there are restaurants at the fishing port below, though we didn't get to try those. We ate at two island izakayas, Bijashi and Wa. Both were friendly and served delicious food. Wa's servings are large, so don't order too much. A few things could be better. Some walls weren't wallpapered, and they hurt to touch. It was especially noticeable in one bedroom, so keep it in mind if you have children who move around in their sleep. The bedroom lights only have on and off, with no bedside lamp or other light, so at night you have to switch on the whole room. I also wished we'd brought bowls and plastic wrap. I usually make Okinawa soba for breakfast when I visit Okinawa, but I only had a bowl to serve it in.
