Hotel Patio Ise (Adult Only)

The soy milk bath salt from the front desk smelled really nice, and the 500 yen membership seemed worthwhile since it gives you free breakfast and discounts on later stays. On arrival, the place looked fairly clean. I did wonder whether shutters on Mie Prefecture love hotel parking lots are for security, though it didn't really matter either way. The bath was the biggest letdown: the tap barely put out enough hot water to fill it, the temperature kept changing, and the jet buttons didn't work. I even wondered if one household water heater served all the rooms. The TV picture looked like old Showa-era footage, and the mattress springs hurt my knees depending on how I lay. Just an average place, about what you'd expect.

For Golden Week, the price wasn't too high, so I was satisfied. I went there to visit Ise Shrine, and found the room clean, with a roomy, comfortable bath. The drinks mentioned in other reviews were just average, and the regular breakfast I ordered was average too. Nothing to complain about.

I stayed in a deluxe room, and the big bath filled quickly, which made it easy to relax. I think the prices shown on the website are member rates. It would be helpful if visitor prices were listed too.

There’s karaoke 🎤 and baths 🛀, but as a part-time worker, I find the cleaning is a lot of work!
