Getting around was easy since the guest house is just off one of the main roads, whether we were heading into town or exploring quieter parts of the island. We borrowed snorkels each day to check out the reefs around the island. Breakfast was included every morning, and the price was very reasonable. The owner was so helpful and friendly, and speaks great English. We loved staying at Guest House Suntoru.

I spent about four nights here in summer. The room had a Southeast Asian vibe, and the staff were friendly and shared useful local information that made my trip more comfortable. I knew it was a guesthouse, so I wasn’t expecting hotel-level comfort, lol. They rent bicycles too. They also seemed to know the nearby rental car companies, and after I mentioned I was staying here, I got an amazing discount on a bike rental. LOL
