My week at Le Lotus Bleu for a yoga retreat was deeply restorative, and I loved the peaceful daily practice and the nourishing meals Chi-chan made. The rooms were spotless, too. I'm so grateful to Maiko-san and Chi-san for being incredibly kind and welcoming. Staying here was truly life-changing, and I highly recommend it.

Le Lotus Bleu made my 10-day sabbatical remarkable. I joined the early morning yoga each day, sometimes with just Patrick and me, other times in a small group. He's a very good teacher who pays attention to what people in the class need. Maiko and Patrick's love and passion for their home come through everywhere in this beautiful old Japanese house. If you're in Ishigaki, don't miss a yoga session here.

The sea breeze coming through during morning yoga on the lovely Japanese tatami gave me so much energy and helped me feel mindful. Taking a class at le lotus bleu is a must-do on Ishigaki Island!

The rooms are big and beautiful, and Shiraho village is so quiet, with town still not too far away. The owners and staff were kind and gave us personal service. It's a distinctive restored old house just a minute's walk from the beach. I really loved this place.

The old Japanese Minka house is beautiful to stay in, and the room was comfortable. The owners were very kind and helpful. It's a quiet spot away from the town center, with a lovely beach nearby for beachcombing and watching the sunrise.
