Nata Beach Villa

The beach is stunning, with crystal-clear water, though at night the total darkness can feel a bit scary. Staff were super nice and looked after guests well. The food isn’t fancy, but it tastes amazing. Some of the best hotel breakfasts and dinners I’ve had in Japan.

We loved the food, especially breakfast, which was one of the best I’ve ever had. It’s such a cute hotel in a fantastic spot in Ibaruma. They also took us to and from the airport. We’ll definitely be back.

The place was clean and the food was amazing. The people running this little gem are so pleasant, friendly, and thoughtful. They seem to offer what you need before you even ask. We can’t wait to stay again. Thank you!

The staff made a real difference during our stay. We couldn’t rent a car because of passport issues, but they helped us get to all the places we wanted, including a beautiful spot for snorkelling with coral and fish and a lovely sunset. The hotel is a little out of the way, though the tasty dinners made up for that. I couldn’t properly thank them at the time because of the language barrier, so I want to say it here. Just a five-minute walk away is a quiet, secluded beach. There were tiny crabs and hermit crabs everywhere, with no crowds or litter. At night the stars filled the sky. Ishigaki Island has a quiet, untouched beauty, and Nata Beach Villa is a lovely place to slow down and enjoy nature and simple, warm living. I also appreciated how gently the staff cared for the animals: Mai-chan and her sister, the two dogs, the little gecko in our room, and the cat. A friend who’s a vet said the cat likely has skin cancer, which can’t be cured, only made more comfortable. I suppose that’s part of life in a place like this.
