We stayed in room 303 for three nights, and waking up to the sunrise and sea breeze from the balcony was lovely. The view was fantastic, and we had everything we needed in the room. Yoko san, the owner, was super friendly and shared lots of helpful information. They also offer diving and snorkeling courses. A really pleasant stay.

The place looks a little rough from outside, but inside it’s lovely, and being right on the beach was great. I stayed a week and liked the kitchen, though you’ll need to bring your own spices. It’s a mile or two from the edge of town, so dining choices nearby are limited. There’s a cute, tasty breakfast spot down the road and a grocery store a couple of streets away.

The food is amazing, and they clearly care about the ingredients, so make sure you have breakfast. The owners are kind and friendly, and the cozy rooms are more like a beach house than anything fancy. Each room has a kitchen for cooking, and it worked well for our family and little kids. The hotel is outside the city, so you’ll need a rental car or taxi, though bicycles are available for rides to the beach or city. Taxi drivers all know the place, and there’s free wifi. It’s affordable, with discounts on snorkeling or scuba diving for guests. I did NAUI open water and it was amazing. Definitely coming back soon.

The owners made me feel very welcome, and the room was spotlessly clean. I had a wonderful two nights and three days there (^^) There’s a flat running path along the sea, over 3km each way, with no cars. It’s a lovely route if you like running (^^) Laundry facilities are available too. One thing I’d have liked was sandals for the balcony. I ended up buying sandals to wear into the sea (^^)
