The room was on the small side, as we’d expected, but it was clean and comfortable enough, and breakfast was decent. The staff at Hotel Tulip Ishigaki-jima were really friendly and helpful. They didn’t speak much English, but were happy to use a translator, so we managed to communicate easily. We had a pleasant stay.

My room was quiet and very clean, with a great view and the amenities I needed, including a laundrette. I stayed for three days and thought it was great value. I’d be glad to stay here again.

Even while the typhoon had me stuck, I could watch the sea, waves, clouds, and wind from here. The harbor and sea views are lovely, and it’s easy to get to the bridge and boat terminal.

The breakfast buffet was good, and the room was spacious and very clean. I also appreciated the comfortable pajamas and free WiFi. The hotel offers free airport pickup and drop-off, too. The location made it easy to get around: the ferry terminal, bus station, and shopping area are all under a 10-minute walk. It was ¥8,500 per person per night.

Such a lovely, super clean hotel, and it had everything I needed. The free bicycle rental for two hours made it easy to ride around to find dinner or pick something up.
