Fantastic hotel with a great room, good food, and truly fantastic staff. It’s from the bubble era, so I’m sure it must be old and hard to maintain. My stay was incredible value, though I don’t know whether I got a special deal. Booking.com gives it only 7.7, which doesn’t seem fair. I’ve stayed in hundreds of hotels and would rate it around 8.5 to 9.0.

Our room was very big by Japanese standards, and we could see the fireworks show from it at night. The swimming pool was great, including the outdoor pool, and the parking lot was free. It’s near the lake. The Onsen was just average, and the food wasn’t that good.

The room had a very good view of the Japanese Alps and was big enough for three people. The hotel is old but well maintained. Unfortunately, the paths around the lake were under repair because of the earthquake, so we couldn’t go for a walk. It’s also a little far out, so you definitely need a car to get around.

The room was spacious, and we had a great view of the padi field. It reminded me of home, since we grew padi in parts of Malaysia. The staff were very helpful and friendly too.

The structure of this hotel is outstanding, the rooms are very spacious, and the restaurants are great. It also has amazing swimming pools, bars, a karaoke room, and a breathtaking onsen. It’s a great venue for events, with excellent rooms for meetings and conferences, as well as production rooms. Outstanding.
