The food was delicious, and the bath was relaxing if you don't mind insects. There were plenty of amenities, too. But at this price, I expected the service to match. Apart from the staff member who arranged the birthday decorations, who was genuinely kind, the others didn't smile and spoke very quietly. The facilities also seemed worn for a place I'd heard had only been open around four years. The windbreak plastic by the dome's dining area was ragged, and several ponds were muddy, almost like sewers. It was cloudy during our stay, and the stargazing tour felt so low energy that I got sleepy and wanted to leave partway through. Please bring the level of service in line with what you charge.

We stayed May 23rd and 24th. Check-in was easy, and the facility overview was detailed and useful. When we asked follow-up questions later, the staff explained things kindly. The indoor stargazing session was a letdown because the weather was poor and we couldn't see stars. The person explaining it seemed reluctant, which surprised me for a paid activity. Still, the photos they showed were beautiful, and I appreciated the postcard at the end. I hope to see the real thing on a clear day. Meals tasted great, though the portions seemed small. We ordered more, but with outside food prohibited, the limited selection was a bit disappointing. We picked a serving time at check-in, yet on Saturday several guests had overlapping slots and our food arrived late. A heads-up would have helped, and I think they could have anticipated the scheduling issue. Even with those frustrations about communication and staff attitude, I was reasonably satisfied overall. I'd use the place again, and hope those easily fixed issues are sorted by my next visit.

For our anniversary, I surprised my boyfriend for the first time and was nervous. The staff decorated everything beautifully, and he was thrilled. They celebrated with us when they brought the cake and even took photos. Thanks so much! The dome tent had a lovely, calming color scheme, and I was happy to use the big bath and sauna. We joined the evening stargazing tour, but clouds meant it started indoors. After that session, though, the weather cleared and they also did a shorter outdoor version. I'd love to try the full outdoor tour next time. Fingers crossed for sunshine!

For what you pay, the service and facilities just aren't there. We booked for a birthday, but both dinner and the cake arrived late. The tent sauna was too cold, so I wouldn't pay extra for it. The public bath was the worst part. It looked clean at first, but there were insects everywhere, with cobwebs all over and so many bugs in the outdoor and cold baths that we couldn't use them. I know insects come with the location and season, but this was far beyond normal and made me wonder how regularly the place is cleaned. I had been looking forward to the sauna and gave up on it. The staff attitude was also disappointing. During the BBQ, I pointed out that the windbreak net was torn. They asked if they should stick it back together with tape or something. They knew we were staying, so why hadn't they dealt with it beforehand? There wasn't even an apology. Like other reviewers have said, some staff are good and some are terrible. They need to train the team properly. I've got plenty more complaints, but even 10,000 yen per person feels like too much.
