Dinner was delicious, and we got to try three kinds of sake. The whole stay felt great, from the beach access and outdoor shower to the kid-friendly setup. The onsen was amazing too.

Chef Enmi made dinner feel especially welcoming, with seasonal crab and other Shonai specialties. We also loved the ocean view from our room and the tasty local food. A cosy hotel.

We found this to be a good-value inn, especially for the food and room choices. Dinner on the basic course A had lots of variety and plenty of local ingredients, and local sake by the glass was a reasonable 550 yen. Breakfast was buffet-style with rice, miso soup, salad and other items, plus main dishes brought to the table. The location is right across National Route 112 from the swimming beach at Yunohama Beach. There is a place to rinse off sand by the back entrance. Parking is available in front and a short distance south, but there is no entrance from the coastal national highway, so you need to take the road into town. Our room was thoroughly cleaned and had useful amenities. They even had diaper bins and bathtubs for small children, which made the stay feel safe for families. The hot springs are on the first floor and basement, with the men's and women's baths switching by time of day. The first-floor bath has a view, while the screened basement bath faces the road.

The food was a big hit for our family. We had the gourmet course, and our child got the children's lunch. Everything tasted good and was filling, and the children's meal was better than expected. We were surprised that the ice cream dessert came as a sweets platter. Breakfast started with a platter of main dishes, then there was a buffet with Yukiwakamaru rice, miso soup, rice accompaniments, salad, yogurt, ice cream and drinks. We went back for more rice. Takeaway coffee cups were available, so we could have coffee in our room before checkout. It was nice to take a morning bath and then walk by the sea just in front of the inn. Both the large public bath and panoramic bath were comfortable and not too hot. There was a baby bath, children's yukatas from 100cm, and a free massage chair. The diaper bins in the bathroom and toilet of each room were especially helpful when traveling with children. Staff were kind, the hot springs were great, and the price was reasonable. The toys in the game corner were broken, though. Still, we were very satisfied and would like to stay again.

The basement has an arcade, I think, with table tennis, which worked well for a trip with friends. Yunohama Beach is just over the coastal road, so it's really handy to rinse off the sand in the showers by the first-floor entrance. There's a washing machine in the shower room too. It would be even better if each shower had a curtain for changing.
