A couple who run the place were absolutely lovely, and the food was so delicious I wanted to try it all. I was too full to finish everything, though, sorry! The pizza at night and the breakfast bread were amazing. We stayed as a family of three with our dog and had a very relaxing visit. We took a wrong turn on the way and ended up on a steep hill. I was worried about getting back, but they kindly gave us directions, and the return route wasn't steep at all. Our dog has allergies, so I appreciated their suggestion of a menu without anything he reacts to. He usually doesn't eat much when we're traveling, but he ate plenty of the meatloaf. Thank you so much!

We were the only other guests staying, so we got to hear the couple talk about their affection for their animals and enjoy the charm of Sakura, their adorable daughter. I'd love to stay again next time I travel with my dog. And we sincerely apologize for making a mess in the room, both for the dogs and the owners. It was my first visit, and I was taken with how kind and charming the owners were, and how much they cared for their animals. They have six dogs, five cats, a turtle, and others; most are rescues, including some with chronic illnesses that the owners took in knowing about their conditions. The handmade dog run has become a sort of salad bar because the dogs like eating the grass. Dogs can spend time with their people in the dining room. The owner mainly cooks for the humans, while his wife prepares the dogs' meals, and we finished both. The whole place felt warm and welcoming.

We went as a married couple with our two dogs during Obon. The owners were very friendly, and the hot spring baths were relaxing. It was nice that dogs can come into the dining room, too. The thin-crust pizza at dinner was delicious!

Dog lovers who want to support dog rescue might really like staying here. The meals were a bit fancy, and I think the place is good for people who intend to donate to dog rescue. For what it cost, I expected at least pajamas, but none were provided. The sleeping area and toilet were separated only by a small door with a gap, and there was just one tub, only a little bigger than average.
