The sunrise and sunset views are so beautiful they might make you cry. The staff are cool, speak some English if you need it, and gave me great suggestions for things to do around the Ito peninsula. The vibe is relaxed, and breakfast is amazing, so get it. The onsen welcomes tattoos and usually isn't busy, which made it easy to have some time to myself. It is on a hill, but I enjoyed the little hike each day. Ito's two stations are both about a 30-minute walk away. Highly recommend.

I felt more at home here than anywhere else in a long time, even after two months of traveling around Japan. Aito and Yoshi were incredibly kind and helpful, and quickly felt like friends. I liked the place enough to book another night. The onsen was relaxing too. Thank you!

After two days of hiking, I especially appreciated the onsen and the great evening meal. The food was fantastic, and the service was just as good. Someone also gave me lovely advice on sake, and what I tried tasted great. Everyone was friendly, and I could get help with anything. It was easy to meet other people as well. I had a marvelous stay at this guest house and will definitely come back.

The Japanese breakfast was really good, and the staff and owner were super nice. We stayed in a traditional tatami room, and the onsen was just what we needed after the long trip from Tokyo. It was all at a ridiculously low price. We had a wonderful stay and highly recommend it.
