Really lovely.

The building may be old, but it was clean and comfortable. There aren’t any shops close by, so it’s best to pick up what you need in town. Ryukyu Glass Village is nearby and well worth a visit. I picked this inn because I wanted to see the illuminated chrysanthemums, and the hosts pointed me in the right direction and lent me a bicycle. You can even see the lights from your room. After I returned, the owner treated me to a meal and we talked for ages. The next morning, they drove me to Itoman Terminal when I asked, since I’d been planning to call a taxi. I was there for just one night, on my birthday, but came away with so many good memories. They’d even decorated the present my friend had sent ahead. I’ve traveled many times, but haven’t had this kind of thoughtful service before. Thank you so much.

The rooms and bathrooms are old, but everything was in working order and very clean. The owners are attentive while still giving you space, and I can see why people come back. I’d be happy to stay again if I get the chance.

The chickens were a little clumsy, but waking up to their calls was a nice start to the day. My room was clean, I slept comfortably, and the owner was friendly. There aren’t many shops nearby, so stock up first if you’re staying without meals.
