The staff were all really nice, and the price was fairly low. The main plus for me was being close to the bar district. I only stayed one night, so the room was okay for somewhere to sleep, though it wasn’t especially clean. Don’t expect too much at this price. The large public bath apparently isn’t open at the moment.
The front desk staff were kind and helpful, and I left very satisfied. We booked a twin, and while it had two beds, one was around semi-double or double size, so I slept comfortably. It was room only, with a relaxed 11am checkout. I’d stay here again when I’m in Izumi.
The room has a retro look, but I was comfortable and had no complaints. Being close to the city center was convenient, and the covered parking is especially handy if you’re on a motorcycle.
A free roofed parking lot with space for quite a few cars is a real plus. They also seem to help guests get around with rental bikes and a shuttle to the station. This long-established hotel sits near Izumi City’s bar district, making the location useful for business travelers. It has Japanese and Western wedding halls and spaces for large gatherings like receptions. The facilities show their age, with some rooms having small tubs or outdated equipment. That old-fashioned feel may appeal to some and not others. I also liked the shampoo bar and other services aimed at women.
