Plus 9 Station Inn

Izumisano Station is only a five-minute walk away, and the price is affordable. It’s a convenient inn if you arrive late at Kansai Airport. We had a single room with tatami, a nice chance to experience Japanese housing, and it’s suitable for families too. Check-in and check-out are through a tablet. The process wasn’t too complicated, but it felt a bit impersonal with nobody to talk to. The sound insulation wasn’t great at night. Since the toilets, bathroom and living room are shared, it can feel rushed when you need to use them. Still, it’s a nice place, especially for its location and price.

The online instructions were detailed and helpful, and check-in and check-out went smoothly even though no staff were around. izumisano station is just a four-minute walk, and it’s an affordable, convenient stay near Kansai Airport. But if you’re a light sleeper, I’d clearly advise avoiding this place. I didn’t take the warnings about thin walls and noise from other guests seriously, and was woken several times by loud guests through the night. The futon wasn’t very comfortable for me either, since I’m not used to sleeping on one. It’s adequate if you’re looking for somewhere cheap and conveniently located near Kansai Airport 😁

The rooms are quite small and have tatami mats. If you’re on the second floor, avoid bringing big luggage because it’s difficult to carry upstairs. The road from the station has uneven tiles, so it isn’t suited to trolley bags.

The room was big and very clean, and the toilet and shower room were spotless too. It’s close to the train line to the airport. The downside was the mosquitoes: we got bitten, and their buzzing kept us awake all night, so we didn’t get a good sleep.
