The room was clean and fairly large, and I could drop off my luggage before check-in. It’s about a seven-minute walk from the station, with 711 and Lawson nearby, and a big Donki roughly 15 minutes away. The area gets quite dark at night, though. There’s an onsen in the hotel, and the TV shows how busy it is. I think the women’s bath needs a password, if I remember right. The bathroom is modern, and you can set the water temperature. They provide amenities, including facial foam, but the shampoo seemed cheap and left my hair feeling dry. There was no laundry line or drinking water. I liked being able to choose from different pillows. The old-style room key has to be left at the hotel when you go out, which made me feel a little uneasy.

They said they’d keep the disabled parking space for us when we checked in, but when we got back, someone else was in it. I told the staff, but unfortunately they didn’t seem to understand what I was saying. That space is supposed to be reserved for people who need it.

The price was great, the location was fair, and there were plenty of freebies, including drip coffee and face masks. Free bike parking was a nice extra. But the Wi-Fi was horrible, and the sauna wasn’t available until 15:00, with no sign telling me that when I booked. I chose the place because of the sauna. Face masks were only provided for women.

The hotel was clean and roomy, and breakfast was okay. You can choose only between a Japanese or Western set menu. Eating there saves time, since there aren’t many alternatives nearby if you head out looking for breakfast. The local train station is about a 10-minute walk away.

The staff were helpful, and breakfast came as a set, so food wasn’t wasted. It’s a business hotel, and the rooms aren’t very big.
