Oyado Tsukiyo no Usagi

Dinner and breakfast are buffets, with cod crabs at dinner. You can also pay 1,600 yen for all-you-can-drink alcohol. The rooms are simply furnished, and there's a sofa to relax on, plus free popsicles after a bath and free ramen for a late-night snack. Parking is easy, and there's a Family Mart diagonally across the street. The five kakiri-bura baths each have their own style. You don't need a reservation, so you can use one if nobody's there, but they're almost always full. Going early in the morning gives you a better chance.

Greetings from Taiwan! The food was a highlight, with fresh seafood, lovely seasoning, and beautiful presentation. Our room was spotless and very new, and even had equipment for grinding beans and making coffee yourself. There are usagi decorations around the hotel, and it's in a great spot, very close to Izumi Daisha. They also have lots of different kinds of onsen. The staff were so sweet, helpful, and amazing. One of the best hotels I've stayed at, and I'd love to return! 💛🩷💜

The rooms were large, clean, and nicely decorated, and the service felt warm and welcoming. The baths were clean and well organized, which made for a great experience. Good location and good food, though breakfast gets very busy.

The value was incredible. I paid about ¥23,000 per person for a room, dinner, and breakfast, and left feeling like I'd got away with a bargain. There were too many extras to list, especially the shrine tour, which gave access beyond what visitors normally get. The hotel had only opened in late December 2017, and everything felt new and clean, with traditional design and all the modern amenities you'd want. From arrival to departure, the staff made us feel comfortable. They sat us down with tea and a light snack, and the service was wonderful. The food was great, with good local drinks like beer and nihonshuu. Family Mart is opposite, although when I visited it sadly didn't sell alcohol. Hotel drinks weren't too expensive, and there was a vending machine with beer and Strong Zero on at least the second floor if you wanted a drink in your room. I'd recommend flying to izumo instead of taking the Shinkansen. It's much faster and easier.
