We spent two outstanding nights at Hanamurasaki, and we’ll remember them for a long time. The owner, Mr. Kohei Yamada, has a philosophy you can feel throughout the hotel. It was a pleasure meeting him and his wife. Their warmth, elegance, and passion show in every corner, and the place is run with heart, integrity, and a real understanding of hospitality. The property is serene, beautiful, and impeccably maintained. You can see the care, balance, and respect for tradition, alongside a quiet sophistication. Service felt personal and genuinely thoughtful, attentive without being intrusive. The cuisine was delicate, memorable, and exquisite, turning the stay into a full sensory experience. Hanamurasaki sets a high bar for authentic hospitality. I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a meaningful stay at a refined Japanese ryokan.

I got my money’s worth by soaking in the beautiful outdoor onsen five times during the stay. The facilities are really new and clean, and even little corners of the hotel look like they belong in a museum. I’d seen Hanamurasaki mentioned a few times for its design while traveling up to Kanazawa. A really cool stay, worth every penny, and great in every way.

My husband and I spent two nights at Hanamurasaki during our Japan honeymoon, and everything was exceptional. The staff went out of their way to make the stay feel memorable and special. Our accommodations were comfortable and beautifully designed, and the food was both lovely to look at and a great showcase of what the region has to offer. We loved it all and hope we can return.

We had a phenomenal time here, and it may be the best hotel experience I’ve ever had. The interior design throughout was mesmerizing, and we loved the rooms. Dinner was wonderful, and we tried both the rooftop and basement onsens. It was also great to book massages at short notice.
