Hotel Hokuriku Koganoi

The hot springs were nice and hot, and the game center was open. Air hockey there was an awesome way to spend time, and parking was free. Dinner and breakfast came as bentos. The whole facility looked run down, which I don't mind on its own, but it was dirty. Maybe corona meant they hadn't had time to clean the rooms or washrooms, but my toilet looked like it hadn't been flushed in over four months. It was dirty, with a thick film of old water.

We had such a good time here. We're already planning to come back every year!

The hotel smelled bad, especially in the toilet, and the reception service was the worst. If you haven't booked yet, choose another hotel before this one ruins your trip.

The facilities are a bit old, but very well kept and tidy. We found free wheelchairs to borrow, and the staff were excellent. The front desk was efficient and explained everything carefully, while the restaurant staff were kind and always smiling. We stayed Friday to Saturday and had unlimited ping-pong and karaoke, so grandparents and grandchildren all had fun. Our room had a spectacular view of Lake Shibayama? Was it a lake? Since we were in Hokuriku, we were looking forward to seafood, but there wasn't any at dinner. We tried to order crab as an extra, but it seemed to be out of stock, so we gave up. At least breakfast had ingredients for making a seafood bowl. We'd definitely stay again for the cleanliness and service.
