The room upgrade gave us a larger hot spring bath, and the room itself felt new, neat, and clean. We didn’t need to try the shared bath since ours was already so nice. We’d booked the birthday plan, and after dinner they brought out a cake. We were full, but it tasted so good that we finished the whole thing. The staff were kind and helpful, and we had such a good time that we’d stay again if we return.

We wished we’d booked more than one night. The onsen was peaceful, with a lovely view outside, and the roomy guest room looked recently renovated. The food was excellent, especially the mountain vegetables, and everything was carefully prepared in a comfortable, upscale-feeling restaurant. The staff were great with kids, too. Such a beautiful ryokan, and definitely worth a stay.

The baths were spacious, clean, and had lovely water. Our room was huge, the food was great, and the staff were very helpful. They really pay attention to the little things. A beautiful hotel.

The hot spring was perfect, and lunch was good too. We booked the day package that included both. The staff were friendly and helpful.

The food was okay, but I couldn’t get past the awful smell from the bedding. The duvet and tatami mat seemed to smell as if they’d been kept in storage and not cleaned properly. Even days after I left, the clothes I’d worn there still had that stench.
