Ooedo Onsen Monogatari Premium Kaga Maruya

The hot springs were nice and hot, and the game center was open. Air hockey there was an awesome way to spend time, and parking was free. Dinner and breakfast were bentos. Maybe they hadn't had time to clean the rooms or washrooms because of corona, but my toilet looked like it hadn't been flushed in over 4 months. There was a thick film of old water and it was dirty. The whole facility looked run down. I don't mind old, but I do mind dirty.

We loved staying here and plan to come back every year!

The hotel smelled bad, and the toilet stank. Reception service was the worst in the world. If you haven't decided yet, pick another hotel before this one ruins your trip!

We had a spectacular view from our room, maybe of Lake Shibayama? I wasn't even sure it was a lake. We stayed Friday to Saturday, and the unlimited ping-pong and karaoke kept everyone from grandparents to grandchildren happy. The staff were really friendly. The front desk team were efficient and explained things carefully, and the restaurant staff were kind and always smiling. The facilities were a little old, but very well kept and tidy. We were hoping for seafood since we were in Hokuriku, but there wasn't any at dinner. We tried to order crab for an extra charge, but it seemed to be out of stock, so we gave up. At least we were happy to find ingredients for a seafood bowl at breakfast. They also had wheelchairs available to borrow for free. The cleanliness and customer service were excellent, and we'd definitely stay again.
