The front desk staff were lovely, always smiling and helpful. They pointed us to a 24-hour parking lot about two minutes behind the building, for ¥700. There’s no hotel parking, and the streetcar doesn’t go there. A taxi to the center of town cost ¥760. There weren’t many restaurants nearby, and the breakfast was overpriced. For the price, the stay was okay. The bed itself was comfortable and the air conditioning worked well, though the room got a little hot after showers. Soundproofing wasn’t great. We had a small double room, and the bed had walls on three sides, which made getting in and out awkward for two people. The bathroom was raised quite high and barely ventilated. Our towels wouldn’t dry, there may have been mold on the shower curtain, and there was shampoo and body soap but no conditioner. The lights were too bright, even the dim bedside light was blinding when lying down.

There aren’t restaurants or shops around the small business hotel, which is why I’m taking off a point. The nearest 7-Eleven is about a five-minute walk. The front desk staff were very professional, and the stay was pleasant.

The front desk staff always greet you professionally. It’s easy to reach Tenmonkan or Kagoshima Chuo Station by bus.
