Comfort Inn Kofu Showa Inter

Getting around from here isn't easy, and the restaurant only opens in the morning.

A pleasant room.

Parking was the one tricky part, since the lot entrance isn't easy to spot. Otherwise, there are plenty of restaurants within walking distance, so there's a lot to do in your free time even though the hotel is a bit far from Kofu Showa Interchange. The reception ladies were always smiling and very friendly, and the free coffee was a nice touch. I also appreciated that alcohol from the vending machines costs about the same as it does at a regular convenience store. Hotel vending machines can be expensive, so these prices felt very reasonable.

Pretty average, in general. The sofa seating was an unusual touch, but since it was fabric, I found myself wondering about other guests' sweat and dust mites. At night, bikes that sounded like something you'd hear from countryside delinquents were fairly loud. I can sleep through that sort of noise, but some people might not, depending on the room.
