大砂荘 OZUNA CAMP and LODGE

Yota was incredibly kind. He took me surfing at a nice local spot, lent me a board for a low price, and didn't charge for the ride there. The place itself is lovely too, with roomy, well-equipped tatami rooms, a clean, spacious toilet and ofuro, a cozy shared area, and a big kitchen for cooking. Great people run this place.

The sunrise is spectacular, so make time for it. This is a very quiet spot despite being near the main road, and it's right across from the beach, which was perfect for a swim after a full day of hiking. Rooms are spacious and clean, with good AC and windows you can open if you'd rather not use it. The big kitchen has what you need, but bring your own food since meals aren't available. The host was very helpful.

Being able to rent SUPs and paddle around the bay was a lot of fun, and the staff were lovely and helpful. It's a great place to pause during the pilgrimage, with beautiful sea views and clean, comfortable rooms. There aren't shops or restaurants nearby, but the kitchen is very well equipped for cooking. This was my third stay at Ouzuna-sou, and it was a treat again. The ocean views alone make it worthwhile. The rooms are very comfortable, and the host is friendly and helpful. There are no meals or shops nearby, though you can buy cold beers on site, which go nicely with the view.
