The check-in went smoothly, and the area was pleasantly quiet. It’s near the beach, and the place is very spacious and clean.

A beautiful, clean house, just right for a weekend away.

If you’re on the second floor, watch out for the narrow stairs when carrying your luggage. The room itself is huge, so there’s plenty of space to move bags around. The toilet and bathroom are separate, so someone can use the toilet while another person showers. The bathtub is large and has automatic water filling and temperature adjustment. Kitchenware and dishes are all provided. They also gave us tickets to Hasegawa Temple, though we didn’t use them 😂 Check-in is at 4 PM, and you can leave luggage there only from 2 PM. If you’ll be out during the day, it’s better to leave your bags at the station. The place is an easy walk from the station, and the route is simple to remember. (It’s rare for me to remember the way somewhere like this!) Before the alley, you pass a supermarket and drugstore where you can pick up supplies.

Enoshima is walkable, and there are plenty of bars and restaurants between the property and the island. It’s also close to Koshigoe Beach. The location is on Kamakura’s outskirts, in a place associated with Yoshitsune, and you can see the Enoden passing along the road beside the cars. Personally, I think it’s a very nice spot. This is a quiet place in a residential neighborhood, so it may not suit groups looking to make noise. There are supermarkets and drugstores nearby, and local fishing port seafood is easy to get, which makes cooking in the fully equipped kitchen a pleasure. There’s also a washing machine. Contactless check-in and check-out are available. The post-booking explanations are in both Japanese and English, and the rooms are arranged to be comfortable for guests of any nationality.
