It’s a beautiful, authentic Japanese house, with cozy rooms and warmhearted, lovely staff. The surroundings are quiet, so it’s a nice place to relax and recharge after a trip.

The shared spaces and facilities were good, with a kitchen, laundry, lounge, and showers, and the staff were very friendly. I stayed in the mixed dorm and found it pretty cramped, but the price was good value, which is why I gave it five stars.

The house was very clean and pleasant, but really, no free coffee? I’ve stayed in backpacker hostels on vacation for years, and this is the first time I’ve seen that!
