The bedrooms and bathrooms kept this from feeling like the cozy stay the rest of the house could have been. The bedrooms are sparsely and cheaply furnished, with two smallish beds and one tiny drawer between them, even though there's room for more. The newly installed bathrooms felt like dorm bathrooms, and there were no towel hooks or racks. The house itself is spacious and clean, and the garden is cozy. I just can't say the stay worked for me.

We were a family of eight, and the house felt warm and welcoming, with a nice sense of everyday Japanese local life. It was clean and well located. Having three dry toilets and three bathrooms was a real highlight for a big group. Thanks for creating this space.

The traditional Japan house experience was interesting and unforgettable for our family. The host was kind and ready to help, even on a winter night. We also had good communication when we couldn't work out how to get hot water flowing into the bathtub.

We were eight people staying for one night, and found the place clean and quiet, with a lovely little garden. The beach is an easy walk away, and the walking street isn't far by car. We'd recommend staying here.
