It’s been a year since my last visit, though I’ve been coming here since before the pandemic. Mid-December still had some autumn leaves, and the lovely weather made the place feel so peaceful it hardly seemed real. This time I went for the Tosa Akaushi Beef Curry Stew. The meat was incredibly tender in that slowly simmered curry soup. Their menu also has Tosa Akaushi beef steak, Akaushi beef curry, hamburgers, and soba noodles. The rice on the plate was maybe a little skimpy. Some things have changed since before the pandemic, and I miss being able to drop in easily for the daily special set meal. I wonder if they switch the menu by season.

The food is delicious, and the setting by the dam is lovely. Green from the lakeshore reflects on the water, making for such a refreshing, soothing view. Every visit leaves me feeling restored.
