The hotel’s views beat most of the nearby scenic spots, and the whole stay felt very premium. We were treated like VIPs, though the golf cart ride to the room didn’t seem necessary. The room was spacious, new, and had nice appliances; the shower had strong pressure. We loved the in-room spa, but it takes about 15 minutes to fill halfway, so start it ahead of time. Dinner was spectacular, especially the steak and pasta. The fish dishes were overcooked. We enjoyed breakfast too, although its fish was overcooked as well.

The western-style food was good, but we got the same steak course both nights we stayed, which felt repetitive. It’s a spectacular place with great rooms and service, though you pay for it.
