The rooms felt traditional and were pretty spacious, in my opinion, while still being affordable. There are great views and an on-site Onsen, and the staff are very friendly.

It has an old, traditional feel, and I enjoyed the tatami. The Japanese-style room impressed me so much that I felt like I was Japanese. Everything was good.

The room was clean and had a great view, and there was plenty of fresh seafood to enjoy. The baths are separated into odd-numbered and even-numbered sides, with the hot springs and baths split between them. Since I stayed overnight, I got to try both, and the open-air bath had a great view too. I was also grateful that the staff were so helpful. I had booked the wrong date by mistake and asked to change it the day before. I thought it wouldn't be possible, but they were happy to accommodate me. When I arrived, someone even showed me to my car. My only concern was the towels. There was one bath towel and one face towel, and with several baths I worried they might not dry in time. A spare set would have been nice. I'd definitely stay here again on my next trip to Amakusa.
