Chigiri no Yu Super Hotel Kashima

The rooms could be a bit more spacious. It's very clean, the breakfast is quite good, and the natural spring bath is a must.

This is a seriously underrated hotel. The quality, amenities, and service are all five-star. Extremely good.

I stayed one night to study for a qualification exam and recharge a bit. The hotel was clean and comfortable, with everything I needed, including a coin laundry and microwave. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It's easiest to get there by car. You can take the bus and walk, but there are only three buses a day, so I wouldn't recommend that unless you've got plenty of time. There's a pachinko parlor next door, and depending on your room, its sparkling sign might be right in front of you. With the curtains closed, it's no problem, but don't expect a view. In a way, it's perfect for pachinko fans (lol). There's a hot spring, though the water is circulated and filtered. The hotel website explains it in detail. The facilities were clean.
