We’ve just wrapped up our third visit to this magical lodge, and we’re already looking forward to coming back next year. Marc and his lovely wife Heather are such warm hosts, and we always end up making more friends here. The rooms are spotless, with comfy beds and heated towel rails. Breakfast is included and amazing, and you can ski straight in and out.

The owner was very aggressive and rude, and I was shocked by his attitude, especially since he was a white guy rather than a local Japanese person. I wouldn’t recommend staying here.

The rooms were spacious and a great deal for the price, especially with the lodge right on the slopes. Marc and his kids were lovely, organized, and gave us plenty of tips on places to visit and things to do. The location was lovely, and the people running the place were great.

Right by the ski runs, so you can ski straight in and out. Marcello and his family were incredible hosts, generous and welcoming enough to make us feel at home. We’ll definitely come back.

I first came across this place while watching YouTube videos about skiing in Japan. I meant to stay for just two weekends, then ended up returning for the rest of the season. The Australian family who run it are lovely, helpful, and extremely hospitable. Rooms are warm and comfortable, there’s a good spot to keep your skis and gear, and the Western breakfast selection is good. It’s right beside the slopes, which is amazing. I love the place and plan to keep coming back for years.
