Daiwa Roynet Hotel Kanazawa-eki Nishiguchi

The rooms felt larger than average, and the number of business travelers made the place seem geared mostly toward business stays. My only issue was getting around: although it’s beside the main station, the shopping areas in the middle and on the far side are a bit of a walk. When I was dropped off there for buses, that walk made the distance feel much greater.

The staff were especially friendly and helpful, and the modern, spotless rooms made the stay feel welcoming. They’re also spacious by Japanese hotel standards, with enough room for luggage. Getting around was easy too, since the West Exit of Kanazawa Station is only a short walk away.

Getting to Kanazawa Station takes almost no time, and you can walk to the main sights around Kanazawa too. The staff were accommodating and really friendly. I’d definitely recommend staying here on a visit to Kanazawa.

After a hot day out, it was great to come back to cold drinks and ice cubes in the lobby. The hotel is also pretty close to the station and bus stops. The room service and amenities were great, and I liked the trouser press. Most of all, Hiraoka was so kind and spent time helping us find out more about a nearby festival. She really went out of her way. Thank you! 10/10.
