The neighborhood is quiet and lovely, and there’s a lot to do just across the bridge. Check-in went smoothly, and the place itself is gorgeous, with a minimal but traditional look. The bathtub even fills itself automatically.

Unfortunately, even with two weeks’ notice, the hotel wouldn’t offer a cancellation refund, not even a partial one. We understood when booking that this could happen, but the in climate weather would have made the trip there undesirable.

We loved our stay here. It’s a lovely, quiet space in a great part of Kanazawa, with a kitchen if you want to make your own food and a spacious bathroom.

The location makes it easy to walk to lots of places. The rooms are beautiful, with tatami mats and futons, and the lighting inside and outside is nice.

We enjoyed our stay here. It’s in a good, convenient location, the breakfast is delicious, and the host is excellent. It felt secure, and I’d recommend it.
