Mr. Kubota at the front desk was very kind and made check-in easy. The stay itself felt like being at home, and the bed was first-rate. This is an apartment-style Japanese accommodation, and the nearby drugstore sells groceries, which came in handy. The bath can be reheated without adding more hot water, which is nice and environmentally friendly. A few things could be improved. The front desk is quite far from the accommodation, which makes luggage storage a bit of a hassle. I couldn't find the button for closing the bathtub drain because an extra pillow covered it, so I ended up calling staff for help. I hadn't read the manual, so sorry for the trouble. I've stayed in apartment hotels abroad, where basic condiments were usually available. I didn't bring any this time and was disappointed to have to buy soy sauce, salt, wasabi and the like. I understand why they might not provide them, especially during COVID-19, since you don't know who has used them. Still, small packets of soy sauce and salt, like those offered at buffet restaurants, would be useful and likely inexpensive. There's no coffee or tea either, so bring your own if you want some. The trash instructions were in English, but I still couldn't understand what to do with food waste as a Kanazawa resident. More explanation would help. I put my food scraps in a plastic bag and froze them before checkout so they wouldn't rot. The dining table is low, more like a low table, and awkward to eat at, so watch your back. I also don't think the tatami is needed. I'd prefer a flat layout. It's not barrier-free, and designs aimed at foreigners don't suit Japanese people.

The solid wood floor felt lovely underfoot, and the entrance and interior looked stylish. The cushions and ceiling were cute, and even the bathroom had a great design. I can recommend it with confidence.

I finally got a comfortable night's sleep here. Usually I struggle to fall asleep, then wake with a sore neck or back and feel more tired than before, but that didn't happen this time. The bedding helped me sleep well, and I felt refreshed the next day. The place was so stylish that it let me shake off the stress of everyday life. It was my first stay, and next time I'd like to come with my parents and daughter. Thank you!

I left feeling rested in both body and mind. The bedding made it easy to sleep comfortably, and the trip became a lovely, memorable experience. I hope I can stay again on my next visit.
