The room is small, but it's got good equipment, and the pricing is reasonable. Service was kind, and the atmosphere is lovely: with the windows open, you can hear the river flowing. Bus stops for trips to and from Kanazawa station are under a 10 minute walk away. The breakfast rice, cooked in a clay pot, was really good. In my case the main dish was just deep-fried tofu, so it felt a bit skimpy. Grilled fish or something similar would make the meal more satisfying. Amenities are limited, too. Since there's a nice cafe facility, I'd love to see free coffee for guests in the lounge.

It's a peaceful spot right by the river, about a 20 minute walk from the city center. The staff were friendly and breakfast was good. The rooms are tiny, though, and there's no elevator, just narrow stairs. Nice hotel by the lake.

The hotel was really clean, and the beds were good. Breakfast wasn't my favorite, though I could eat it.

Once I got inside, the room was great, with a nice view. The riverside area is quiet and there's a konbini nearby. Getting in was stressful because I arrived at 8:30 pm and hadn't received the door code. My booking confirmation said the latest check-in was 9 pm, so I thought there'd be no problem. The notes left for me referred to extra details in the booking confirmation and check-in information from Expedia, but I'd booked through agoda and hadn't received that. They also listed a local phone number and an email. Luckily, a local friend called the number for me, and they gave my friend the code.
