APA Hotel TKP Sendai-Ekikita

We had a wonderful three-night family stay at APA Hotel TKP Sendai in October 2025. There were four adults in my family, and this was my second time at the hotel. The rooms are small, as you’d expect from a business hotel, but we each had our own, so it wasn’t an issue. The hotel connects by walkway to Sendai JR and the bus station, and Sendai Station has lots of good restaurants and shops. The front desk team were wonderful and especially helpful at check-in and checkout. Despite being next to the station, it was quiet at night and we all slept well. I skipped breakfast this time, but when I stayed in November 2024 there were lots of choices and it was wonderful. Thanks for another great stay. I’m looking forward to coming back on my next trip to Sendai. Highly recommended.

The room was sparkling clean, though it wasn’t big for the price we paid. The location is really convenient: Sendai Station, Sendai’s best charcoal BBQ beef tongue, and two kilometers of shopping streets are all within walking distance. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful even though I don’t understand Japanese. They were happy to use an online translator, and they helped courier our two large bags to our next hotel in Chiba so we wouldn’t have to carry unnecessary things to Zao Onsen.

Spacious room at an average rate for a luxury hotel, free adult entertainment video, and complimentary coffee. There’s a convenience store nearby, and the front desk staff speak decently. Lol.

It’s a large APA HOTEL right in central Sendai, with efficient, welcoming staff. The staff kindly made a restaurant reservation for us. I’d suggest asking them to do that, especially for dinner, since places in Sendai close early and seats are limited. Also, ask for “big pillows,” because APA HOTELS usually have very thin ones.
