Teramachiya Wind Bell Temple Guest House

I stayed here while exploring Kanazawa, and the complimentary wind chime making activity was a nice extra. The hotel faces the street, so it’s a bit noisy during the day, but it was quieter than I expected at night and I slept well. Everything you need is provided, so it would suit a relaxing stay of a few days.

I got to try making a Kaga style wind chime and could take my creation home that same day. I’m not very artistic, so it didn’t come out quite as I’d hoped, but it’s still a unique and charming one of a kind wind chime.

A friend stayed here, and we picked up takeout since eating out is currently discouraged. Because we had the whole building to ourselves, there was no need to worry, and the inn had everything we needed. Once the coronavirus situation has subsided, I think this will be a great place to invite relatives from far away. Thank you very much.

The wind chimes sounded soothing, and I felt very comfortable there. The coffee was delicious, and the atmosphere was wonderful.
