What really stayed with me was how caring the staff were. After we had checked out and moved on to another city, someone from the hotel messaged me on Facebook to say the police had contacted them and found my boyfriend’s phone. They helped us get in touch with the police so we could retrieve it. He’d lost his phone somewhere between the bus stop and checking in. We told the front desk clerk we’d already filed a police report and explained what happened. He was concerned for us, then went out of his way the next day to contact the bus company and the department store in the area where the phone had been lost. Every day he checked whether we’d found it. Sadly, we hadn’t, and we left for our next city and hotel. The hotel itself was great, too. I liked the deep tub, and the room felt homey. Their kindness toward guests is what sets the place apart. I can’t recommend it enough.
