The glamping area looks beautiful at night, all lit up, and the sea nearby makes for a nice setting. There is some industrial architecture close by, though. Our room was tidy, roomy, and very comfortable. The service was kind and extremely polite, even if the staff weren’t always fluent in English. That didn’t get in the way of a very satisfying stay, especially for families. I was pleasantly surprised that the onsen was included in the price.

The staff were so friendly, and even in the awful weather, windy, cold, and stormy, they came out to set up and pack away our dinner. The tent looked just like the photo and was beautifully appointed. A couple of things spoiled the experience for me: there was no toilet or bath by the tent, so the trip to the bathroom at night and getting ready in the morning were freezing. The setting was also a little disappointing, surrounded by hotels and the town. I could hear a lot of noise in the morning, including noisy trucks promoting the recent election.

The staff were warm and attentive, and the peaceful atmosphere made the place feel luxurious. My room was clean and relaxing, with stunning views over the Seto Inland Sea. I had a wonderful stay at Grand Premier Setouchi and would love to visit again for another relaxing getaway.

Great camping, and the breakfast BBQ was amazing too! We got to enjoy the beach, sunsets, BBQ, and Japan SPA all in one stay.

The luxury tents, food, and spa were amazing, but I was disappointed by the location. The campground could use mature trees or bamboo around the perimeter to create the secluded feel that would suit the exclusive luxury of the services. It seems the setting and curb appeal aren’t a big priority for Glamping.
