I wouldn't recommend staying here. I booked a non-smoking standard double for one night and left before breakfast. The room was small, especially the toilet, which felt more cramped than any business hotel bathroom I've come across. Cleaning was the main problem: there was mold in the toilet wall corners, and the area under the bed looked like it hadn't been vacuumed in ages. Some of the shared areas and hallways also needed more attention. There were some positives. The staff were friendly and helpful, and I appreciated that they tried to speak English with me even though I understand Japanese hotel conversations fine. It was the cheapest business hotel nearby when I booked, which may have contributed to the issues. The location was convenient for both the shopping center and train station.

If you need a place to park along with your room, this is good value. The free parking and breakfast selection are the two big advantages. But if you're coming to Kariya by train and don't need parking, I'd skip it, since there are better options nearby. The rooms feel dated and cramped. The problem isn't just the small size, but the oversized bed for a budget hotel. There are only three power outlets, and with a hair dryer, electric kettle, and air purifier in the room, there may not be one left for your phone or laptop. The chair is hard to sit on, and opening the small fridge door is awkward.

The staff had a good attitude and were polite despite the substandard facilities. The room was small and had a very unpleasant smell of smoke. Parking is limited, so when it's busy and there are no spaces left, you'll have to use a paid lot.

The hotel is only about five minutes from the train station, and Nagoya Station is around 30 minutes away. The price is reasonable, so it could work well if you're planning to go to the Formula 1 race.
